Job Description: Manager , Demand Planning , Modern tradeObjective: Demand Planning is a key S&OP process along with working closely with Sales and Supply chain to ensure desired level of finished goods availability at HCCB factories,depots. The associate is responsible to facilitate forecast generation process and preparation of construct after incorporating inputs from multi,functional group, gather market insights, and drive usage of forecasting tool (JDA) and partner with sales to drive weekly forecast accuracy by analysing error in the process and driving continuous improvement to manage forecast error within acceptable range.Title: Manager , Demand Planning , Modern tradeFunction: CommercialWork Location: Corporate BangaloreJob Responsibilities:1. Drive S&OP process and use planning tool (JDA) to construct rolling 13,week forecast for finished products.2. Collaborate with multi,functional internal stake holders to arrive at aggregated consensus volume plan and understand forecast inputs3. Do deep dive analysis on Zone,BU,Brand,Category performance as per S&OP requirements4. Assess risks and opportunities to volume plan and support analysis on gap closure6. Support development of portfolio plans, which includes new product launches and discontinuation of obsolete SKUs7. Monitor Sell,in and Sell,through trends, collect business intelligence, and recommend corrective action; adjust forecasts accordingly as per cadence.8. Feed in relevant promotion related details in planning tool and ensure all local level promotions,incentives are incorporated in forecast9. Use statistical methods,tools to generate forecast data on variation in demand vs various inputs like schemes, consumer,trade promos, NPD etc.10. Identify exceptions to Demand & feedback changes into the Supply Planning. Ensure faster response to changes in market demand.11. Monitor & work towards improving forecast accuracy and other related metrics for zone12. Help Supply Planning Process by providing forecast inputs on short,term and medium,term horizon13. Collaborate with Supply planning to understand capacity,replenishment challenges on unconstrained forecast and take corrective actions accordingly14.
