Job Description :Key Performance Indicators :1. P,L of the unit2. Operations, Productions, Maintenance , Quality, Procurement , Commercials, HR3. Liaison with all key stakeholders 5. Compliances of all Statutory Regulatory , Looking after all aspects of operations for the plant and leadership to all department e.q GMs for Production, Quality, Purchase, Sales, Finance and HR team for all production, maintenance, quality control and safety activities and sales, Monitoring the daily activities at the plant including all operations and process, Developing strategies to increase productivity and optimize costs including operational excellence measures like Six Sigma, 5 S, Kaizen and TPM, Coordinating with Planning and Marketing departments to track customer forecasts and draw production plan so as to derive the necessary resources requirements as per production schedule and optimization of materials, Coordinating maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe working environment, Facilitating interdepartmental coordination with Engineering, QA, HR, Stores, Purchase, Marketing and Maintenance to address day,to,day cross functional issues, Reviewing the overall performance and identifying training necessities of all personnel, Ensuring all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met, Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals, Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantageRequirements :, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical,Production Engineering or related field [full time course from recognized Institute], 20+ years of Relevant experience in Integrated Steel Plant, Only candidates with prior steel industry experience , Candidates with rolling mill , long products experience will be preferred, in,depth understanding of steel manufacturing with a special focus on rolling mill expertise
