Job Description

 

Who We’re Looking For


We are looking to bring on our first Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Sales team. We are seeking individuals passionate about solving problems in the technical talent space and winning as a team. In this role, you will focus on strategic prospecting - finding the right people and getting them interested in Byteboard. This might be a good fit if you enjoy driving meaningful conversation with prospective customers, are exceptionally organized, an excellent and empathetic communicator, and able to prioritize day to day priorities. 


As an early employee, you will have the opportunity to help our early stage startup thrive through a variety of contributions: building and shaping outbound playbooks, developing outreach plans for target accounts, using data to make improvements in process, efficiency, enablement, and productivity


What You'll Achieve:



  • Conducting a high-volume of cold calls per day (70+)

  • Crafting engaging and personalized email communications 

  • Facilitating and scheduling qualified meetings for the Account Executive team 

  • Discovering new leads through research - internet, social media, & tooling

  • Leading prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in Salesforce 

  • Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics (activity metrics, qualified opportunities, pipeline goals)


Qualifications

Required



  • Ability to build out long-term processes, execute strategic prospecting, and drive meaningful conversations with prospective customers

  • 1+ years of of sales (BDR) experience in a high volume environment (solutions-based selling) or comparable experience

  • Available for collaborative work Monday - Friday from 10a-3p PT (regardless of location)

  • Are authorized to work in the US or Canada and located in the US or Canada


Pluses (but not required)



  • Experience with exceeding strategic goals in the technology industry with SaaS products 

  • Knowledge of selling into talent and engineering organization
