About the role:


You will oversee the Hamilton branch (sales, operations, yard, administration, health & safety and people) whilst reporting to and being supported by the Regional Manager – Upper North Island.


Opportunity for you to step into a role where you can truly make a difference for our employees and grow the branch. You will ensure people and equipment resources are assigned accurately and projects are quoted, set up and completed on time and within budget to ensure customer satisfaction always.


About you:


You will enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, you will be comfortable working within the construction industry and all that comes with it – hi vis, portacoms, yards, trucks, amazing people, diverse cultures and lots of scaffold!


You consider yourself hard working, be organised, efficient, have high attention to detail and a great sense of humour! You are driven by making a difference and understand the importance of operations running smoothly and the wider impacts it can have on the rest of the business and our customers if it doesn’t.


Skill / behaviour requirements:


  • Experience in a similar or leadership role
  • People leadership experience
  • Positive can-do attitude, top notch organising, prioritising and time management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels and with different cultures
  • Resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Strives to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and delivery focus always
  • Have good initiative and be intuitive – take tasks / projects through to completion
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office skills, ideally SAP experience
  • Learning agile, able to quickly grasp latest technology and systems as required
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
