We are building enterprise level partnerships with some of the most prominent financial services companies to bring a faster, convenient and technology enabled mortgage process to their customers. The Partnerships team at Better identifies new opportunities, builds relationships and drives the execution of strategic partnerships which are expected to have a disproportionate impact on the growth trajectory of Better. The Partnership Research function is part of a high,impact team Business Operations team, responsible for driving analytics, research and implementation for the broader Partnerships team by leveraging data and analytics to accelerate growth. Primary stakeholders for this team include the Executive Team, Head of Partnerships, Finance, Capital Markets, Product and Sales,Operations.A Better opportunity :The Partnership Research Analyst , Associate is responsible for driving the Research and Analytics associated with our Partnerships Go,To,Market strategy, along with due diligence on select companies and partners. Responsibilities : , Collaborate with wider partnerships team, including relevant function owners, to develop processes and analytical framework to drive research into partnerships, Assess new vertical markets, partnerships and revenue models, distribution channels for partnership opportunities and potential acquisitions, Evaluate macro trends and track competitor strategy to develop insights and recommendations in support of Better's partnership strategy, Partner with cross,functional teams and external stakeholders to conduct due diligence, business case creation, financial analysis into specific partnership verticals and companies, Size and prioritize different partnership opportunities, and present recommendations to Partnership leadership for execution, Perform ad,hoc analyses as neededAbout You : , 2+ YOE in consulting, investment banking or at a fast paced startup, Excellent analytical skills and modeling experience, exposure to various analytical tools (MS Excel, Google sheets, Looker etc), Strong experience in business and strategy development, ideally in financial services, Excellent written and verbal communication skills; especially presentation skills with a bias for over communicating with key stakeholders. , Good financial acumen and understanding of general financial terms and metrics, Organized and methodical in approach to work, with ability to handle multiple work assignments, Tolerance of ambiguity, mature, and an excellent team player , Must be able to work effectively across all levels of the organization, including up to senior management.
