In line with the goal of being Analytically driven, Analytics rests on a few key pillars

Horizontally build out core analytic capabilities with an end goal of having a forecast at a customer level of revenue, risk, wallet share, propensity resulting in a stamped customer level line and price.

Position Summary

The BI and Infrastructure Head will bring together deep experience in Analytics, Technology understanding and Processes to enable the delivery of Analytics in terms of seamless delivery of BI, optimize the running of hundreds of campaigns and owning (with the technology team) the design and delivery of enabling infrastructure. The role consists of integrating three key components

Business Intelligence

The BI team is the owner of data across the company and responsible for delivery of reports (largely automated) across the company. The team is also responsible for ensuring creation of tools that enable both self service and faster turnaround as well as establishing requisite data quality standards.

The team will also have to build out meta data standards and quality of data and Information Value standards as well as establish a single version of truth.

Campaign Management

BFL is a leader in leveraging campaigns with pre approved offers to reach out to millions of customers through Direct to Customer campaigns. The company is investing heavily in world class solutions to enable delivery.

This role will require ownership of the Campaign Management process requiring both a vision for how hundreds of campaign a month will run and the rigor for executing it in a rigorous way through well established and metricized processes.

Analytic Infrastructure

The leader will work with business teams, risk teams, analytics team and the technology unit in understanding comprehensive needs and translate those needs into an Analytics Infrastructure plan. The leader will then own the delivery of required infrastructure and ensure targeted business outcomes are achieved.

The leader will also be expected to bring in new thoughts with respect to Big Data, Big Data infrastructure, Data enrichment and how it can be used at BFL to make superior offers to the customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver required MIS and BI across the company in a timely and accurate way.

Create infrastructure and tools to enable self consumption and faster delivery.

Ensure campaign delivery is fully accurate, fast and that feedback loops are established. Create transparency and efficiency metrics to enable businesses to dynamically optimize campaigns.

Conceptualize analytics needs for efficient NI, Infra and Campaigns. Work with technology teams to ensure delivery of the same.

Bring process expertise and excellence concepts into practice.

Candidate Experience and competencies

Business Domain expertise

Deep experience in Analytics

Extensive knowledge of Technology, especially relating to Data and Infrastructure

Process capabilities, six sigma a plus

Work in Campaign Management, including established tools and applications

Core work experience in the financial services domain

Exposure to global banking practices and infrastructure a bonus

Knowledge of working and data of credit bureaus a plus

Experience working with Big Data and Big Data infrastructure

15 years work experience
