Assistant Manager , GST (Qualified CA)We are looking for a ASSISTANT MANAGER, FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING (Specialising in GST) for a reputed FMCG Sales and Distribution organisation in Pune. This is a WFH role till DEC,2021 and then the role will be based in Pune office. The Tax Assistant Manager is responsible for all areas relating to Goods and Service Tax. This position will be responsible for GST reconciliation, assessment handling, Communication with the clients, updation, etc. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of activities including Communicating the Vendors and Customer, Timely reconciliation of tax balances, Knowledge application, etc. The position will have contact with senior managers and Controller which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.Assistant Manager Taxation will be involved in and should know:, 1. Latest update in law needs to be studied and its impact on the Company taxation need to be assessed and presented to leadership team.2. Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices in the system with the help of technology team.3. Resolve queries of various teams related to GST such as Procurements, Invoicing, Tech and SCM teams on time to time for betterment of the organisation4. Communicating the Vendors and Customer related compliance, follow up and proactive measures for risk mitigations in Input Tax Credits5. Experience of handling the team of 5,6 persons.6. Timely reconciliation of tax balances, Turnovers as per GST portal with the general ledger of the books.7. Practical knowledge of E,Invoices as to cater the reconciliation of the same from GSTR,1 and EWBs on a periodic basis and liaison with the Tech team for suitable deployments8. Extracting various reports from GST portal related to E,Invoice, GSTR,1 Vs. GSTR,3B and Eway Bill related reports for the purpose of periodic compliance9. Preparing and assisting the leads for reporting the monthly business level Outward and Inward Tax details at the project levels10. Timely Follow up with the concerned teams within the organisation w.r.t GST 2A and GSTR,2B reconciliation11. Manage external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally12. Preparing replies of Show Cause Notice and appeals, assistance in departmental audit in consultation with the external consultants.Skill,set:, Chartered Accountant with 2,6 years of experience., Must be able to multi,task, managing multiple sites simultaneously, Problem solving skills,, Candidates from Big4 with GST knowledge preferred, Strong verbal and written communication skills., Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required, Ability to multi,task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required, Well versed with Microsoft office and ERP systems# SALARY for the role is between, 10.00 LPA to 15 LPA
