Job Description

Strategy & Review Role , Strategy & Chairman's Office , IIT,NIT,CA,CFA,IIM,ISB,FMS,MDIPURPOSE OF THE ROLE:1. Driving the execution of all strategic decisions taken at Chairman's office level for various portfolio companies of the Group (including relevant financial analysis and financial modelling).2. Influencing the strategic intent from the Strategy & Chairman's Office for implementation for the aligned BU, Services. 3. Program Management for Critical Projects4. The role involves working and interaction with the CXOs,Service Heads, managing business specific as well as Group wide common initiatives. CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:, Own and drive the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) along with leading the Quarterly,Half Yearly and Annual reviews with Group Chairman for the business responsible, Assist businesses in developing the AOP while ensuring adherence to investment principle, operational assumptions and learnings from previous achievement,issues, Establish and review key strategic priorities of Chairman and translate them into actionable and quantitative plans, Independent Evaluation of new business, investment proposals and assist the group in decision making with initial implementation blueprint, Handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications, Assist in facilitating effective decision,making. Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives, Periodic monitoring & timely escalation to the Chairman on the action plan, Support the team in identifying new opportunities leveraging external network, Manage monthly monitoring of BU KPIs ,dashboards that will provide valuable benchmarking for management as well as timely insights for better decision making, Any other special projects,initiatives in line with Chairman's expectations and priorities that can be implemented across the group or in any portfolio business, Analyze the performance of current BU vis,a,vis competitors, Person should be able to present key financial metrics such as IRR, NPV, ROCE., Representing CHMO in strategic projects related to transformation, change, digital, analytics etc.Experience , Desired Skills: , Seeking an enthusiastic professional with experience in corporate strategy, consulting or finance. , Sound problem,solving skills and one who is well experienced in stakeholder management at the senior level. , 5,8 years in a Strategic role supporting a key leadership role, Excellent communicator in written and verbal form, Pro,activeness to identify optimization opportunities and engage with stakeholders to work towards probable solutions, Strong ability to understand varied businesses and work with cross functional teams
