FP&A Manager

We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to support our Finance team. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Finance, the ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in an Finance role and is comfortable working with large data sets. The candidate will lead the business planning and forecasting processes in conjunction with senior management and will have a strong grounding in data and analysis. The successful candidate will be highly analytical and have a demonstrated ability to partner and influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective written and verbal communication and financial analyses. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and should have experience with financial planning and creating dashboards using data visualization tools (Tableau, etc).


Financial Planning

Assist the Director, Strategic Finance with various strategic initiatives and cross-functional projectsHelp support the creation and maintenance of the business’ strategic financial planLead the business planning and forecasting processes, including supporting the annual 3YP planning exercise in conjunction with senior managementUpdate & maintain the financial plan, working with key stakeholders to capture key inputs and changes, including updating the plan with monthly actuals and carrying out quarterly updates of forecastAct as the central point of contact for all questions & queries on the business’ financial planMaintain and update FPA tool (Planful)Liaise with demand planning to understand differences between demand plan & financial plan as part of the monthly S&OP processIdentify, assess & present risks & opportunities to the financial plan as part of financial plan reviewsCollation of forecast updates for presentation to senior management

Analysis & Reporting

Provide analysis & insights on business results, including carrying P&L reviews with channel leads and explaining drivers of variances to forecastSupport the Accounting team with identifying key variances between actuals and forecast as part of the month-end close processAssist Gross Margin analysis, understanding channel mix and product mix impacts on overall business profitabilityIdentify & recommend potential cost-saving opportunities across the business with a particular focus on supply chain costsAssist with regular reviews on strategic pricing, making recommendations on changes required based on market dynamics and gross margin trendsProduce cost center reports and lead the monthly reviews of costs with budget holders across the businessBuilding dashboards within BI tools to enable the delivery of meaningful, actionable business insightsProvide commentary & insight into financial results for presentation to the board & senior management


Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar field1-3 years of relevant experience in FinanceExperience working in beauty or CPG a plusHighly analytical mindset and problem-solving ability, comfortable working with large datasetsExcellent communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex concepts to non-finance stakeholdersAbility to build and accurately maintain detailed financial modelsAbility to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the businessHighly proficient in Excel, experience of working with BI tools such as TableauExperience of working with NetSuite is desirablePro-active, can-do attitude, desire to improve the status quo and to find opportunities to improve business performance through providing actionable insights


Base Salary Range: $100K - $120K. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors including qualifications for the role and experience.
