Pure Storage is building its first R&D site outside of North America in Prague, Czech Republic.

The goal is to build a world-class engineering capability to support our rapidly expanding customer base, and to expand Pure’s capacity to leverage local and regional talent pools.

In 2015, Pure Storage established Pure1 as a new product unit to provide its customer base with AI/ML powered cloud-based fleet management and predictive support solutions. With the ever-growing focus on subscription services and as-a-Service offerings, we rebranded ourselves to Digital Experience (DX) in 2021.

In the last four years, Pure1 has consistently extended its services and now provides full-stack analytics and AI-driven predictive intelligence through a SaaS-based business model. On device RESTful APIs, CLI’s, and user interfaces that interact with complex underlying protocols yet help customers easily use our products

Web infrastructure and Data processing pipelines that manage petabytes of data being sent home to our cloud hosted systems in real-time

An industry-leading SaaS cloud platform, Pure1 Manage, which allows customers to manage their array from any browser or from the Pure1 Mobile App. We build tools to manage large fleets of devices and help customers identify and quickly diagnose issues across the stack

Machine learning models allowing for predictive analytics to help resolve potential issues and optimize customer workloads

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE...

Participating in development and establishment of Testing Community of Practice with core testing competency components (best practices, guidelines, libraries, frameworks etc..)

Doing market research on the latest trends for tooling, instruments used in testing and assessing compatibility for Pure environment by POCs

Providing consultancy to agile product teams to develop the test strategy of a product or portfolio of products

Helping product teams with creation of test plans and identification of any potential issues that may arise during testing

Demonstrating, documenting techniques for test analysis and design and best practices in development of tests

Building automation frameworks and integration into development pipelines

Reviewing established testing practices and providing any recommended changes, on the lookout to improve testing competency

Participate in test code review to verify accuracy, identification of any problems and provide feedback for necessary adjustments

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

7+ years experience with testing enterprise applications

4+ year experience using test automation tools

4+ year hands-on experience scripting in Python, Java or any other languages

Good understanding of SaaS environment (AWS preferred) and/or container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker)

Good understanding of CI/CD Pipelines and testing integration

Ability to independently deploy and maintain test environments

Be comfortable with building from scratch and getting your hands dirty - meaning you are not afraid to pick up a new technology/library/pattern and get productive with it quickly if that is needed for the task at hand

Natural curiosity with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
