Senior Project Manager, Sr. Associate

As a Senior Project Manager with Appnovation, you’ll be responsible for managing multi-functional teams in the business of consulting, designing, developing, training and supporting digital transformation and digital marketing solutions for our clients around the world! This is a full remote job only for Romanian residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of Project Management experience in a digital agency, professional services or consulting environment, with a focus on managing large client-facing project teams and budgets

Able to estimate project costs, set deadlines, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines

Experience managing projects with substantial logistics, complexity and budgets in excess of $1M

Work closely with strategists, developers, architects, product managers, designers, and the client's representatives to define the direction, approach and requirements to project manage the discovery, design and execution

Participate in the pre-sales process (opportunity management, oversee and run pre-sales teams to create responses to RFPs, estimates, etc.)

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization

An excellent working background with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Good understand and managing financials, estimation to completion of projects

A technical background with a solid understanding of, or hands-on experience with, software engineering, including experience in mobile development, web development or multi-tech platform implementation an asset

Understanding of client business requirements, and the ability to present them in a form which is comprehensible to business users and technical professionals

Fundamentally driven by ensuring good process and able to adapt different approaches and methodologies

Exceptional planning, organizational and problem-solving skills, experience building GANT charts

NICE TO HAVES:

Business analysis and requirements management experience

Project Management and/or Scrum Master certifications

YOU WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO:

Lead and manage multiple complex projects concurrently

Manage project budgets and maintain costs to remain within or under budget

Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization across projects

Determine project schedules, create detailed project plans and scope statements, and write status reports for each stage of the project

Estimate and track project costs, develop resource plans, and work to assess potential issues and risks

Define project management policies and ensure their implementation in all stages of a project

Develop impact assessments, statements of work, and other project documentation

Grow long-term relationships with clients and capitalize on “add-on” sales opportunities across projects while constantly seeking out new opportunities with existing clients

Provide leadership and guidance to all members of the project team and to other Delivery team members

Identify and provide recommendations for process improvement in the delivery of projects
