What we’re looking for:
As a Lead Product Analyst for Business Services products, you’ll be responsible for driving and managing data projects for Business services vertical. You will report functionally into the Global Lead of Product Analytics but will work closely with the Product managers in this product vertical. This role will also work on leading and managing the prioritisation and impact of work related to other data teams in the squad including Analytical Engineers and Data Scientists.
As a Lead Product Analyst, you will be:
Working in close collaboration with product owners to consistently achieve the collective understanding of product, user and their problems
Setting up a clear prioritisation of projects and activities for the delivery teams including Analytical Engineers, Data Scientists
Champion the experimentation mindset in the product teams by enabling the right tools and self serve analytics
Building great relationships with your team members and other analytics teams - influencing business KPIs, roadmaps and prioritisation.
Developing SQL code to interrogate our data to solve key business problems
Proactively bringing new ideas to the table relating to business questions, analytics approaches, datasets and ways of working.
Working with technical stakeholders on best practices in event tracking including naming conventions to ensure the right data to produce relevant product insights is collected.
What makes you a great fit:
Having 7+ years of experience and at least 3+ years leading analytics/BI Teams.
Experience working in fintech firms, B2C product company or a start-up or fast growing company preferred
Excellent leadership skills - you can drive and influence team of analysts, engineers and data scientists without any formal reporting
Strong skills on SQL and Visualization tools ( Looker, Tableau, Qlikview etc.)
Strong bias for action, to drive initiatives and working groups objectives
Experience of translating business problems to data problems and doing a business impact estimation to drive prioritisation
Prepare product usage analysis to identify opportunities around improving metrics and KPIs
Exhibit excellent communication skills, especially story telling using data points.
You are comfortable to lead business wide initiatives that require cross team collaboration with little support
Experience using Agile development methodologies and familiarity using JIRA/Confluence to document
Proven experience and comfort using site/app experimentation solutions, such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, VWO, Launchdarkly or similar platforms
You have ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
