Practice Development Specialist

Our client, an international law firm focused on business, is searching for an experienced Practice Development Specialist for its growing Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. The role can be located out of either office.The firm has a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Job Summary: Our client is looking for a Practice Development Specialist. This role work closely with the Practice Development Managers to support the marketing and business development efforts of various practice groups in the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices.Responsibilities: Coordinate marketing and business development initiatives for specific practice groups across the west coast offices including drafting and producing marketing proposals and RFP responses Edit, maintain and update practice-specific pages of the website and intranet, marketing collateral and attorney bios Works to identify and coordinate appropriate practice group business development initiatives, such as regional seminars and trade shows, membership opportunities newsletters, presentations and other events. Maintains current and accurate case lists, descriptions, case studies and client lists for use in marketing and business development efforts Assist with regional onboarding plan in collaboration with the PR/Communications and Practice Development team Provides research support for various initiatives utilizing research subscriptions and databases. Assist with firm-wide initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field required. 8+ years of demonstrated success in a law firm or professional services firm preferred. Strong organizational and planning skills. Must be a self-starter who thrives on juggling numerous, high-visibility projects on tight time schedules Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Previous experience supporting a practice group and west coast offices in a law firm is required. Strong technological skills with Microsoft suite of products and Adobe Acrobat Experience with Customer relationship management (CRM) software. Familiarity with S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg and LexisNexis® atVantage or similar is preferred. Familiarity with HTML and basic website technology platforms such as SiteCore and blog platforms is a plus. Salary: Up to 90K, maybe be flexible depending on experience.
