Our aim is to enable students to achieve their educational goals through receiving high-quality, personalized online tutoring from expert, certified teachers. Over time we plan to expand this marketplace further to serve a broader set of educational needs for a wider range of customers.We are looking for an entrepreneurial Demand Generation Marketing Manager who will spearhead customer acquisition strategy and execution for our direct-to-consumer marketing efforts, with the goal of attracting, converting, and retaining students and tutors on our platform. The role requires a savvy, strategic, revenue-centric digital marketer with seasoned skills in inbound and outbound marketing. You will develop and oversee the implementation of innovative ways to reach and acquire potential customers, and continually iterate on our strategy and tactics to exceed customer growth targets.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. Develop, maintain, and execute demand generation plans aligned with business goalsDesign, plan, manage, and optimize integrated digital campaigns across multiple channels such as SEO, SEM, organic and paid social media, email marketing, affiliate partners, etc.Iterate, improve, and diversify current customer acquisition channelsMeasure, analyze, and report on campaign performance with granular tracking across relevant metrics, including but not limited to impressions, clicks, site visitors, video views, collateral downloads, leads, conversions, and revenueEvaluate the performance of marketing campaigns to determine their effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve resultsWork with development team to ensure accurate tracking is in place on websiteDevelop A/B testing and optimization plans for emails, landing pages, forms, etc.Oversee or participate in the selection of vendors, contractors, or agencies; manage day-to-day engagements with these resources to ensure achievement of objectivesLeverage marketing automation where possible to streamline tasks and workflowsOrganize and maintain detailed schedule of campaign timing and execution for projectsCollaborate with the product team to support new product offering and/or feature launchesGain a deep understanding of our customers’ needs, our products, and the full customer journeyCoordinate flexibly with marketing colleagues across multiple teams at Stride accomplish goals Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Five (5) years’ experience in direct-to-consumer demand generation marketing and/or e-commerce OREquivalent combination of education and experienceExtensive experience in the development of creative campaigns and execution of email marketing, social advertising, SEO, SEM, and paid digital advertisingExperience with marketing systems; CRMs such as Salesforce.com and marketing automation tools such as Pardot and/or Salesforce Marketing CloudAbility to effectively utilize a content management system, such as Adobe Experience ManagerAbility to build and analyze ROI (Return on Investment) based on campaign contributionStrong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior managementExperience in vendor managementAn entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding strategic thinking, analytical thinking, problem-solving skillsEnjoys working with a lean, dynamic team in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize effectively and manage competing priorities to deliver and drive resultsStrong project management and organizational skills with attention to detailA good communicator who sets the right expectations and follows through on their commitmentsStrong collaboration skills when working cross-functionallyMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) proficiencyAbility to travel up to 10% of the time (travel will be minimal, if any — e.g., team-building events)Ability to clear required background check Certificates and Licenses: None required.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or universityOnline marketplace experienceStartup experienceOnline education industry experience WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Compensation & Benefits: We anticipate the salary range to be $53,300 to $100,000. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
