* Manage all aspects of accounting: billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses* Ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements* Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk* Enhance accounting and financial performance and operational decision-making throughout the company* Ensure timely, complete and accurate monthly account reconciliations and financial activity* Serve as main point of contact with external auditors and tax advisors* Lead, coach and develop the accounting teamMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
