Sr Engineering Manager - Boston, Hybrid - Med Device

The Sr. Engineering Manager will:* Show business units and cross-functional groups that you can be a single point of accountability for defining and managing the technical capabilities and constraints of the software running on hardware platforms. If field customer support functions are unable to fix a problem, offer deeper level technical support. Display knowledge of enterprise system cybersecurity and hardware/software connectivity.* Quickly become familiar with the product selection and general client landscape. Recognize how to use the enterprise software systems in the client's environment to support the initial rollout and continuous use of the client's software applications. Be skilled at observing the shifting market conditions for transfusion, hemostasis management, and plasma, and be able to make insightful suggestions to the R&D and commercial partners for improving products to enhance customer experience.* For the best possible client success, demonstrate experience in delivering technical customer support and new product launch. Recognize the issues faced by customers when utilizing their information technology infrastructures, as well as the software ecosystem.* Manage and direct all operations related to new product release and customer support. Create and oversee a team of technical customer service personnel and qualified testing specialists. Be skilled at managing a team's structure, workloads, talent, resource alignment, capacity planning, and management. You should also be able to keep track of technical issues and their resolutions, as well as team deliverables.* Engage future partners creatively and strategically, and fill any gaps in ongoing software implementation, support, and testing tasks.* coordinate automated testing methods and techniques while using data and metrics to create process improvements.* Use the available tools properly and suggest new ones for managing customer issues, fixes, LMR outcomes, and testing metrics. Create dashboards, let leadership know about the team's overall successes and difficulties, and show that you have a measurement and improvement culture. * In order to produce and support new software releases on schedule, under budget, and with the anticipated quality, you must establish and manage a support team, introduce new products, and manage testing skills. In accordance with the resources allotted, continuously monitor and improve the go-to-market plans.* For the coordination between customer support organizations and R&D development capabilities, evaluate and build a level 3/level 4 support approach for taking on engineering-related support needs.A more in depth job description will be provided upon application.
