In this role, you'll define and execute on multiple aspects of our value creation strategy, including evaluating new market opportunities, identifying and building new strategic partnerships, incubating new products, expanding existing business, and driving overall profitability of the company. As a part of the team responsible for developing and owning our value creation strategy, you'll create long-term solutions to better serve the coaches and clients of OPTAVIA, on their journey to physical, emotional, and financial wellness. You will work cross-functionally and with external stakeholders to design, build and scale our current initiatives and generate innovative solutions that will shape the future of the health and wellness category.This is a new role and team for Medifast. We recently brought on a new executive leader to build out the company's Strategy, Business Develop, and Insights group. You can be part of this “founding team” and shape how the company drives into its next phase of growth. Given the importance of this team, you'll be working very closely with the company's most senior executives to shape the “what” and the “how” of where we go next.Job Responsibilities:Develop strategies and priorities on how to expand the Medifast/OPTAVIA offering to new client segments, product areas, and geographies through a variety of cross functional leversConduct rigorous analyses and insights to ensure where we go next is grounded in a deep perspective of our business model, our coaches, and our clients.Develop business plans based on well-founded insights; realistic; modeled and financially viable; aligned with strategy; present to executive managementManage cross functional teams to accelerate key multi-year value creation initiativesDesign operational strategy and push execution; continuously working to rapidly scale toward profitable growthIdentify, build, and grow relationships with internal stakeholders, coach leaders, and strategic partners; build respect for business savvy and creativity; trusted; go-toMaster the ins and outs of OPTAVIA's powerful business model and capabilities to to build strategies that will thrive in and accelerate the coach-based businessFuel the creation and adoption of solutions that will unlock deeper growth for our clientsScopeAbility to juggle multiple cross functional workstreams, with mix of longer major growth bets that will occur over a series of years, to nearer-in value creation initiatives that need to be vetted / assessed / and actioned in monthsInfluences multi-million dollar investment decisions through skilled analysis, strategic savvy, and innovative thinking.Interacts with executive and senior staff on a regular basis. Ensures initiatives deliver on their promise, within budget, scope, and time with no disruption to Coaches and Clients.
