Overview
NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals, is looking for a Clinical Nurse Educator/Infection Infection Control (RN) to provide on-going instruction to improve care for patients and staff. Hourly Rate commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
The RN Director of Quality, Risk and Infection Control functions under general supervision and direction of the Director of Nursing and the Chief Executive Officer to:
Plans, directs, evaluates and documents all aspects of patient care, in accordance with regulatory requirements, established policy and hospital values and philosophy.
Facilitate learning, develop lesson plans to advance NPH's unique model care.
Implements best practices for halting the spread of viruses and bacteria.
Assesses the needs of patients and initiates, implements and evaluates individualized plans of care.
Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care. Maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units.
Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and skills of personnel.

Qualifications
RN in the state of Indiana.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
3+ Experience with QI, Risk and Infection Control; experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred
