The Role

As a Junior Engineer for Customer Solution Engineering (CSE), you will focus on client solution design, and technical product positioning for the next generation of wireless network solutions. You will work closely with your CSE colleagues, the sales and technology teams, our partners, and customers to propose and help build the right solution for the customer to meet their requirements, and not only provide guidance to the customer through technical challenges in their utilization of our solutions, but also understand how they can scale with our solutions.

We are looking for a junior engineer to provide pre-sales technical support as a solution expert. Additionally, you will provide feedback to the CSE team on new feature requests and product improvements based on what you learn from your customer base. You will partner with the CSE team and the sales leaders to build market share within our targeted verticals, and most importantly, help drive private wireless innovation.

General Responsibilities:

Support product solution design to meet customer requirements and repeatability

Partner with fast-paced technology hyperscalers within an agile, high growth startup

Develop relationships with channel partners and their technical teams to ensure colleagues are appropriately trained and can support our solutions

Execute and help improve the technology and solution architecture customer proposal process

Provide effective technical subject matter expertise in customer interactions to effectively use our solutions

Act as a customer advocate for pre-sales and post-sales technical questions

Build and maintain relationships with key customers to solidify reference accounts

Present to customers as our expert in your area especially to customer execution teams

Discuss competitor products in the marketplace and position ours as the optimal alternative

Work with Product Management, Technical Marketing and R&D to build requirements, product features and provide feedback from our customers

Support advanced pilot testing in strategic areas either at the customer site or our lab facilities

Build and enhance tools to streamline successful pilots and scaled deployments

Provide systems engineering training for updates in our product solutions

Maintain a general understanding of competitor selling strategies

Willingness to travel within the US

Skills & Experience:

2+ years of pre-sales solutions engineering experience

Industry knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud, edge technology, IP networking, wireless market trends (AWS cloud and edge experience a plus)

Experience designing and delivering virtual enterprise solutions

Strong communication and presentation skills

Quota driven attitude focused on client-optimized solutions

Referenced by customers and partners as a trusted technology advisor

Knowledge of IoT, 5G wireless, CBRS and WiFi 6E a plus

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience

Travel:

Up to 30% to customer sites and our Boston or Arlington, VA offices

Location:

Hybrid in Headquarters in Arlington, VA OR Remote (if Remote - will need to be flexible to come to Arlington, VA or Boston, MA for business meetings)
