Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager, General Accounting, the Senior General Accountant position will be a key member of the Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analytical support to the North American Harlequin business units as it relates to Overheads, Royalty, and various balance sheets accounts. Preparation of account analysis on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities

• Monthly preparation of account analysis and input into Blackline.• Record monthly JPM bank receipts and code to appropriate accounts/advise parties. Update HEUIP account reconciliation with Royalty payments.• Manage the monthly sublease rent invoices and journal entries. Work with Scranton accounting group to ensure payments being received.• Departmental Overheads: complete journal entries, reclasses and analysis to ensure monthly accuracy of Toronto & New York business units. This includes participation in monthly Outlooks and annual Budget, as well as monthly Overhead commentaries.• Process invoice submissions into Bottomline for payment. Ensure correct coding is being used and payments are being processed on a timely basis. This may include invoices from Brookfield, Legal, HCC.• Support Manager, General Accounting with reviews of occupancy costs.• Hubble software analysis - monthly Freelance reporting & ad hoc analysis as required.• Provide backup support for General Accounting tasks - subright/royalty income, Concur expense processing.

Qualifications
