Responsibilities
Assess and identifies the vascular access needs of the patientProcures, delivers and coordinates vascular access for the patient in the hospital and/or SNF settingAssess patients with difficult access or need for long term IV therapy for appropriate vascular access deviceWorks with staff nurses, physicians, case managers and other team members to insure early assessment for VAD selection and implementationParticipates in education with Vascular Access education with patient, family members and staffReviews physicians order
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Current RN licensure in Arkansas
Two years professional experience in inpatient acute care or outpatient infusion therapy.
