Job Description SENIOR RESEARCH SCIENTIST- CELL BASED ASSAY TECHNOLOGY in Buffalo, NY Curia provides global contract research and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The Senior Research Scientist - Cell Based Assay Technology is an integral part of the Curia team, contributing to our success by applying a strong scientific background in cell biology, pharmacology or a related discipline towards assay development and screening for client-based projects and internal development projects in oncology, immunotherapies and neurodegenerative diseases. In this role, you will: Develop cell-based assays to test novel therapeutics Take advantage of high throughput, high content imaging platforms Work in a project-driven, matrixed organization Compose research plans, execute experiments, and deliver project results to clients Manage multiple projects and train and supervise junior researchers Qualifications and background to be successful in this role: Required: A Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology, Neuroscience or related field and multiple years of postdoctoral experience. Experience in successfully managing complex biology projects. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred: Experience in managing resources and personnel. High Content Imaging and Analysis experience. Cell Line Engineering experience.
