Job Summary and QualificationsWhat You Will Do In This Role:* You will be responsible for EKG monitoring when necessary.* You will be responsible for administering medications/blood as ordered.* You will be responsible for start of saline locks and I.V.’s according to IVP/CT protocol.* You will be responsible for catheterization of patients in department.* You will monitor patients receiving I.V. sedation under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.* You will be responsible for informing the Radiologist/Technologist of any penitent changes in the patient’s condition.What Qualifications You Will Need:* Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.* Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners is required.* BSN is preferred.* Two years of hospital experience is required.* Basic EKG certification is required.* IV Therapy certification is required.* IV Medication course is required.* American Heart Association BLS certification is required.* American Heart Association ACLS certified is required within six months of hire.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved). in McAllen, Texas has been serving the Rio Grande Valley for more than 30 years.
