Position: Academic & Vocation Advisor

Location: Denver, Colorado

Work Environment: Outpatient Treatment Center

Compensation: $20 Per Hour + Part Time Benefits

Schedule: Part Time | Monday - Thursday 12:00pm to 6:00pm

Position Overview:

Coordinates the development of client’s education or vocational component of the program

Develops goals for grade achievement or job attainment as well as job performance.

Works as a liaison with Client’s referral sources, parents, and school/work throughout the program.

Education:

Bachelors Degree is required, Bachelors or Masters Degree in related field such as Behavioral Health Science, Human Resources, or Education is preferred.

Training & Experience:

Experience providing mentoring, academic, vocational, and/or life skills support to adolescents and/or young adults is required

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of combined experience, including experience with clients ages of 13 to 30

Sandstone Care is a teen and young adult behavioral health treatment program offering a full continuum of care. We deliver care through an innovative treatment approach which addresses not only substance use, mood disorders, and mental health concerns, but also supports the entire ecosystem including treating the broader family system, providing academic & vocational support, and helping clients build new, healthy communities to support their longer term recovery.
