Senior Manager, Brand Marketing

About You

The Senior Manager Brand Marketing is a strategic and creative storyteller that will drive Nutrafol brand strategy, campaign and content. They are responsible for executing on the brand narrative to build a strong emotional connection with our customers. As a brand leader and doer you will work cross functionally to develop and execute a range of projects from 360 campaigns, strategic initiatives, social narrative and more.

Nutrafol is seeking a solutions-oriented candidate with a creative mind that can craft brand stories that resonate with consumers, and initiatives that impact consumer perceptions. Responsibilities include conducting research, analyzing findings, making recommendations, ideating collaboratively with creative and overseeing projects through to completion. Should be a strategic thinker with a knack for uncovering consumer insights that inform strategy development. The Senior Manager Brand Marketing reports to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing and is highly collaborative with both in-house teams (PR, creative, growth, retention and product marketing) and external agencies.


Develop holistic brand experiences based on extensive research, experience, competitor and brand knowledge

Conduct extensive primary and secondary research

Create competitive reviews and situational analyses

Stay up-to-date on consumer research and market trends

Identify insights, challenges and opportunities

Write compelling brand stories

Brief and collaborate with creative teams

Leading ideation and brainstorming sessions

Lead day-to-day management of key brand initiatives to drive awareness and engagement

Partner with social and community teams

Set brand strategy and direction for partnerships and collaborations

Monitor results & provide strategic recommendations and roadmaps for improvement

Assist in managing brand marketing budget

Champion the brand and customer at all times

Create strong relationships and build trust with cross-functional teams and leadership

Work with external vendors and freelancers to execute as needed


8+ years of marketing, brand management or similar experience

Proven track record creating and executing innovative and disruptive integrated brand strategies and campaigns (across digital, social, CRM, OOH, direct response, etc.).

Demonstrated experience within high-growth, fast-moving start-up environments, particularly with DTC branded service model

Experience managing in-house teams and agency relationships

Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with experience in customer segmentation and quantitative and qualitative customer insights

Proven track record for developing holistic brand-first marketing strategies

Passion for culture, tracking what matters to consumers, and love of all things Brand

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

High attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously leading cross functional stakeholders

Positive attitude and ability to manage change, thrive in a fast-paced environment, work though ambiguity, and prioritize projects based on business needs
