
Sales & Business Development Manager -Cybersecurity & Privacy Services
Local Unit & Position Description
Supply Chain & Product Assurance (SCPA) Business Area in IME in DNV is a newly created sustainability, supply chain, digital & Product assurance unit overseeing activities in India & Middle East region. DNV’s vision is to be a trusted voice to tackle global transformation and providing management and technical advisory, assurance and training services for Food, Healthcare, digital, Energy and ICT sectors, focusing on Decarbonisation, Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development.
The Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for the overall sales result with an individual sales target and growth of various services including cybersecurity & privacy assurance in IT & OT, advisory and digital assurance services in India. This position will report to the Business Head -Cybersecurity & privacy Services - IMEA.
Responsible for driving the region’s sales, developing the business relationships, establishing and maintaining both sales and business development strategies to meet sales targets and implement the marketing initiatives
Understand customer pain areas with respect to cybersecurity & privacy in their IT & OT infrastructure and propose a process-oriented solution to address the pain areas
In a proactive mode, approach targeted companies, identify, and generate business opportunities in line with DNV services portfolio
Develop a local network of partners (consultants, channels) and development sales pipeline
Support of project from technical proposal development, cybersecurity product development and customer outreach, campaigns, support in preparation of go to market strategies
In respect of DNV’s rules, prepare, submit, and defend value-added proposals
Follow-up, negotiate and conclude business contracts to achieve individual targets
Ensure the proper tagging of sales in the system, accuracy of sales quotes per DNV rules, guidelines, and practices
Support for annual sales planning, quarterly forecasting, reviews, and other related activities
Sustain existing customers’ loyalty, deal with sales requests in coordination with other DNV departments
Take part in local communication actions (events, tradeshows, conferences, exhibitions, etc).
In relation with the area to cover, the expectations are that the incumbent shall be ready to travel in her/his dedicated geography (~60% of the overall time to be considered on the field) and attend sales meetings, trainings and other business review meetings
Support the digitalisation transformation and initiatives.
Position Qualifications
Computer Science Engineering /Cybersecurity Engineering / Information Technology Engineering / MCA / or master’s degree with cybersecurity as one of the subjects or MBA in Marketing Management
3 to 7 years of relevant managerial and business development experience within the cybersecurity and privacy domain.
Relevant years of successful experience in selling B to B services in cybersecurity is needed (references to be provided)
Experience in Information security, cybersecurity in 62443, ISA 21434, ISO 26262, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT, ENISA, GDPR GDPR strategy and advisory, exposure on international standards in cybersecurity, Cloud and privacy.
Demonstrated experience in selling assessments, advisory and digital assurance services, combined with an experience in Cybersecurity Supply Chain management will provide a real additional advantage to the candidate.
Commercial mindset, efficient, autonomous, and accountable, with an entrepreneurship and market developer mindset to support customers.
Enthusiastic, dynamic, resilient, open to change and flexible
Strong interpersonal relationship capability, ability to work with a team and other stakeholders
Ability to approach and convince the decision makers by listening to their expectations, understanding their stakes and goals, offering adapted / innovative / value added solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
Customer solution Design, Technical Project Delivery, Subject Matter expertise on cybersecurity, privacy, Supply Chain Risk Management Consultancy & assessments will be preferred
Content Development and writing skills, Proficient in MS Excel, Power point and Power BI tool will be added advantage.
Qualifications like CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001, CRISK, CEH, 62443 or anything similar will be an added advantage.
