Worley are looking to engage a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Maintenance Team based onshore on a Project within the UK
Role Requirements:
Operate the water treatment plants in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient manner on a 7/7 shift basis – covering days and nights
Managing water levels on site and liaise with the key stakeholders to ensure there is always capacity and recycled water available for use
Carry out checks on equipment as specified
Complete calibrations on equipment
Manage stock levels of treatment consumables for both plants.
Reporting of faults and defects
Reporting of volumes of reuse water and off-site water
Understand the environmental constraints of operating within the NYMNP and operate the treatment plants in an environmentally responsible manner
Take a supporting role in the site H&S performance to include safety inspections, plant area responsibilities and partake in H&S meetings and forums
Reporting any Health, Safety and Environmental observations, near misses, accidents or incidents to the Superintendent or Manager
Ensure the appropriate standards of housekeeping are maintained
Assist elsewhere on site as required
Person Spec
Candidates should hold the following Qualifications & Certification:
City & Guilds 0610 Certificate in Process Technology Level 3 (Chemical Process)
NVQ Level 3 Mechanical/Electrical multiskilled qualification
Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:
Previous experience working with water treatment plants and an understanding of various water treatment processes.
An understanding of chemistry with a GCSE of grade ‘C’ or above.
Good levels of IT literacy.
Ability to analyse and interpret technical procedures and documentation.
Ability to understand plant drawings and diagrams.
Familiar with sampling, chemical analysis and interpreting results to make plant changes accordingly.
Strong communication, networking, collaboration and well-developed team-working skills, especially in multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams.
Have an ‘Incident Free’ mind-set, and be a role model for the project team and contractors alike
Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, being able to work with the various sub-teams to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interests of the integrated project team.
A full UK driving license is required for this role
