The Social Media Content Creator maintains our strong digital footprint by creating and delivering content-based marketing initiatives to our consumers.
Our Social Media Content Creator understands the importance of shaping the story of a brand and tailoring that story to each generation of consumers. You'll act as the capturer and curator of content and have the responsibility to handle the day to day interactions with our audience.
What You’ll Do:
General
Exhibit professional and courteous demeanor, accuracy, and follow through.
Maintain a working knowledge of the Mishimoto product line.
Social Media – You’ll engage end consumers with consistent and relevant messages by:
Creating and curating compelling content on all Mishimoto social media platforms to educate our customers about our products, engineering process, and culture.
Collaborating with our Product and Marketing teams for timely content collection, creation, and delivery that conveys established corporate initiatives.
Planning and implementing a weekly/monthly social media content calendar.
Staying current on industry news, events, and products to ensure the information portrayed on Mishimoto social media is relevant and accurate.
Proactively leading interaction and engagement with consumers on our developed social media channels.
Researching and developing new ideas to increase growth by capturing new followers in our target market across our established channels.
Creating and tracking engagement and growth.
Assisting with photo and video content collection as needed.
Setup and breakdown of video, lighting, set and audio equipment.
Attend industry and race events when needed to shoot on-site content, giving our customers at home a sneak peek behind the scenes.
Marketing Support – You’ll be team player and help the marketing team succeed by:
Being an all-around good guy or gal and giving the marketing team additional support as needed.
Attending weekly marketing and new product meetings to align timing for social media posts.
Your Creds:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related discipline.
2-4 years’ experience in videography and content creation.
Professional social media account experience working with a variety of social media channels including channels such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
Automotive enthusiasm and/or aftermarket automotive industry experience
Microsoft Office. You can organize and navigate data in Excel like a champ, and you communicate seamlessly in Outlook.
Extra Credit:
Google analytics experience.
Experience creating social media content for an eCommerce company
Must also Demonstrate:
Conveying ideas and building relationships with internal clients, understanding their vision and direction, and presenting designs and concepts to match their needs.
Color correcting to make videos that have the best possible impact.
The ability to capture and post process audio to match our high video quality.
Professional written and verbal communications. You’ll be interfacing with many departments within the company, and your ideas are what our consumers are seeing on screen.
Establishing, following, and maintaining internal best-practice video standards and procedures.
Organizing work and managing time while working on several projects as once. Attention to detail is also a must.
Able to produce quality work within tight deadlines.
Rising to the challenge of matching project goals with constraints imposed by the tyranny of time.
Having a sense of humor and ego-free ownership of projects.
Maintaining positive, effective work relationships.
Giving and receiving constructive feedback so that you and the team can build the best product possible.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed

Normal Office Environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
Sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Must occasionally work on weekends and/or holidays as needed to accommodate social media needs.
