Job Summary

CHDA are currently undertaking a Scanning Project that requires transitioning from a fully paper-based operation to an operation that will process all customer files digitally. The Change Manager (Scanning) will play a pivotal role in delivering the substantial task of a national rollout of digital scanning across the organisation, that will significantly change the way colleagues work. The Change Manager (Scanning) will lead on all change management activities, supported by a strategy to support adoption of change and operational readiness (including designing future operating models). The Change Manager (Scanning) will enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications, co-ordinating efforts across all divisions and assessing the change impact (including identifying, analysing, and preparing risk mitigation). The Change Manager (Scanning) will support training requirements and create and analyse system and operational processes in relation to scanning.

The below accountabilities are specifically linked to CHDA’s Scanning Project for this Change Manager role: Non London salary range - £45,000 - £50,000London salary range - £50,000 - £55,000

Essential Job Duties

Change StrategyDesign the strategic approach to managing change; define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress; evaluate the impact of change to limit potential risk and provide direction and action to reduce the impact. Implement and embed the changes within company practices and contribute to building a culture of innovation.Change ReadinessCollaborate with key stakeholders to prepare the organisation for change through crafting an engaging vision and plan that builds organisational trust. Ensure project teams integrate change management activities into their project plans. Identify the impact on people, evaluate and effectively manage resistance in adopting change. Collaborate with Operational Leaders pre and post implementation to mitigate any gaps and ensure new ways of working are embraced and delivered.Communications StrategyDevelop and deliver a clear and effective communication strategy; identify the audience and set clear communication objectives; develop a clear message that will reach people and inspire buy in.Training PlanWork closely with the Talent and Development team to develop and deliver a training plan; analyse business and employee needs and goals, identify any skills gaps, prioritise, and plan and deliver training. Provide input, document requirements and lead delivery of training programmes.Operating ModelPlan for success and create the necessary processes required to achieve the goals by shaping the organisational structure to align it with the future operating model.Collaboration Be open to and accepting of new ideas by working collaboratively with key stakeholders; brainstorming ideas or solutions to solve problems with the aim of achieving the shared vision and strategy.Stakeholder managementBuild relationships with key stakeholders through effective communication; consult with stakeholders early on and often; agree what success is and build a plan to evaluate the needs and priorities of each stakeholder are met effectively.
