
Market Development Representative - Swedish Language (Stockholm Office)

Come work as a part of Red Hat’s Market Development team in a fast-growing innovative open source company.
The Red Hat team is looking for a Market Development Specialist to work closely with the Sales team in Stockholm, Sweden or Farnborough or London, U.K.
In this role, you will identify sales opportunities within Red Hat’s emerging technologies across key industry trends like cloud, storage, middleware, and mobile. Working closely with sales specialists and account managers, you’ll use a consultative sales approach to qualify sales-ready opportunities. You’ll need to understand complex business problems and industry trends and use this information to profile and tailor Red Hat’s value propositions when engaging with end users. As a Market Development Representative, you will cooperate with stakeholders from across Red Hat, including marketing, sales, and partner teams. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do
Identify new sales opportunities across predefined solutions areas within the Red Hat portfolio
Look for potential customers through a variety of techniques, including social media and other tools, to find new business opportunities
Identify and align Red Hat's solutions to meet customer needs or requirements
Ensure that outbound activity is in line with set targets and objectives
Use concise messaging to target a variety of industry verticals and contacts
Adjust activity and behavior based on pipeline coverage
Ensure that customer relationship management (CRM) systems are maintained and updated
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry and of Red Hat's competitive position in it
Support team members and other associates
Represent Red Hat to the customer and vice versa in all sales-related matters
What you will bring
Detailed knowledge of the sales cycle within an information technology (IT) organization
Knowledge of consultative sales techniques like solutions selling sales methodology
1+ year(s) of internal account management or business development experience
Previous experience managing outbound activities
Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team
Comfortable presenting thoughts, ideas, and stories of success to the business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English;Additional Nordics languages are a plus.
Willingness and motivation to learn and grow in an innovative technology company
Bachelor's degree or relevant technical degree is a plus
Prior experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) is a plus
