Senior UX Writer

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced UX Writer (or Copywriter) to join the UX & Design team. We are a team of dynamic designers, creatives, researchers and product managers who look to re-invent banking, financial services and innovation. You will work closely with the design team to improve the language across our design system and build guidelines that can make our products consistent and accessible.

Job Responsibilities

Craft content for our digital products so that they can be accessible, intuitive, simple and compelling.

Internal and external facing digital communications that go out to our staff and end users (e.g. as email campaigns, SMSes, etc.)

Development of scripts for our product support teams.

Contribute to the content strategy and provide copy for our products.

Conduct research on how to communicate more effectively across different mediums, channels.

Conversation design

Develop writing guidelines and best practices to help evolve our writing style guide.

Job Competencies

Experience in writing for user-focused digital products.

Excellent communication skills

Contribute as a strong collaborator with product and project teams

Demonstrate experience with short- and long-form copywriting

Ability to think creatively

Accuracy and attention to detail with excellent organisational skills

Bonus: background in or familiarity with cognitive psychology

Job Requirements

5+ years of copywriting experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in writing microcopy or conversation design for digital experiences

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, HCI, UX, English or related subject or equivalent practical experience

Body of work demonstrating strong writing skills, shaping content for multi-disciplinary projects and markets

Bonus: technical writing experience
