RN ONCOLOGY

The main focal point for the Oncology Registered Nurse is to provide care for patients who are diagnosed with different stages of cancer. Oncology Registered Nurses also work with patients that have a high risk of getting the disease, and supply them with preventative options.ResponsibilitiesAs an Oncology Registered Nurse your duties consist of: Offering sympathy to patients while teaching them on their condition.Administering chemotherapy and other needed medications to the patient.Monitoring the patientâs physical and mental state and recording the patients progress. RequirementsOne year of experience as a Oncology Registered Nurse within the past two years.
