Quick disclaimer: This is not scientific research or management consultancy, but is actually both (pretty great right?). You’ll work with clients and focus on selling them reports, but also conduct research, interpret data and deliver content.

The role

Our Research and Consultancy team uses our data to provide bespoke projects for our clients, helping them to understand the most exciting businesses in the UK, and the ecosystem around them. As a Senior Research & Consultancy Associate, you’ll pitch for and deliver these projects. Your publications will be widely distributed and cover the most cutting-edge topics (many of which you will propose yourself!).

Day-to day, your responsibilities will include:

Pitching & selling: after your first 6 months, you’ll start proposing projects to our clients yourself and work towards 4-monthly sales targets

Building relationships: maintaining regular contact with these clients to build budding relationships, and taking them to nice lunches!

Research & data analysis: using a combination of our platform’s extensive data, and your own market research, to collect and analyse data for your projects

Content creation: writing beautiful projects that display your findings through diagrams and written content - you’ll learn how to use design software to do this!

Alternatives

Project management: being responsible for the delivery of the reports you sell, helping our junior team members produce high-quality content, and sometimes pitching in to write parts yourself!

About you

We’re looking for a brand new senior research & consultancy person with at least 3 years relevant experience to devise projects and pitch them to our high-profile clients.

Ideally, you’ll be:

A natural people person: you find it easy to get on with all sorts of people and like the idea of working with lots of different clients

Ambitious: you go above and beyond what is asked of you and are excited to develop your own projects & hit targets

Analytical: you like working with data and can take meaning from the numbers.

Also, it’d be helpful if you were:

Interested in the economy: you keep up to date on the latest developments already. This will be super helpful when spotting your next opportunity to run a project!
