The Role:

QS Study Abroad (QSSA) is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Social Media & Content Marketing Executive with a focus on India market. This position will be within the Student Apply business unit and will be offered with flexible working conditions (hybrid model). The base office location will be Mumbai. The Marketing Executive is responsible for assisting in all the student recruitment marketing activities in the region and growing QSSA India’s presence across social media channels. The role will support in-person and virtual event operations/execution, as needed.

The ideal candidate should have Industry background in Higher Education, proven and relevant experience in strong understanding of brand, content management & social media strategy, and up to date specialist skills, including student recruitment strategy, content marketing, digital communications and analytics, partnerships and more.

This role will report into the Head of Marketing.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Crafting ad copies, emails, social media content and all other leadgen/event marketing campaigns Assist in the formulation of content strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers (students) Create static designs, videos, and reels for digital usage via tools like Canva, Wave Video, Adobe & much more. Plan & execute content marketing calendar according to the social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, & LinkedIn)

Regularly monitoring the ongoing company presence on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter etc.) Responsible in cross-team collaboration & delivering requirements for a successful performance marketing campaign. Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.) Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website/landing pages

Acquire insight in online marketing trends, study abroad industry, and keep strategies up to date Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors Finding new opportunities for online engagement in India Providing regular internal performance reports, including marketing analytics and intelligence to inform our strategy and implementation

Ideal qualification/skills for this role

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or related qualification in Marketing Experience in the Higher education/ Study abroad sector will be preferred Minimum 2+ years of content marketing experience & managing successful social media pages

Expert in writing creative copy, emails, blogs or other content A good understanding of youth and adult consumer culture in India or higher education industry Experience in creative design & working with HubSpot/Canva/Video tools and tech savvy Good understanding of PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media marketing, affiliate marketing High level of attention to details

Confident and a self-starter with the ability to work as a team-player across multiple functions and departments Creative, passionate, positive, outside the box thinker who likes to take initiative Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

Essential

Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English Excellent creative skills for producing marketing assets The ability to prioritize and multi-task under tight deadlines
