About the Position

Jane Street is looking for exceptional coordinators to join our tight-knit Recruiting team to identify, attract, and hire outstanding interns and new grads across our Sales and Trading business areas.

We look at hiring like a puzzle. Creating an incredible candidate experience from start to finish takes planning, coordination, and organisation. All the pieces have to fit together just right to ensure a candidate is the perfect fit. These are the kind of projects that get people on our team excited:

We’re hosting a few hundred offerees at our office and need to plan an engaging, welcoming, and exciting itinerary for them. Where do we start?

An internal team reaches out to kickstart a wave of hiring for their department. How can we streamline interview processes and coordinate with global teams to ensure continuity and efficiency?

A new international conference we’re attending will be a great opportunity to tap into our target hiring pools. How do we make sure this is an incredible experience for future candidates?

We’re looking for people who are enthusiastic about, well, people! You’ll be helping to hire your future colleagues, after all. Smart, organised, enthusiastic new or recent graduates who are eager to solve interesting problems, roll up their sleeves, and jump into new challenges are the kind of candidates who will do well in this role.

About You

0-2 years of professional recruiting experience

Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, candidates, and external partners

Reliable and flexible team player with a positive attitude

Holds an appreciation for “getting the little things right

Humble attitude about what you know and don’t know

Interested in the operations of the firm and how recruiting fits into the bigger picture

No financial industry experience required

Fluency in English required
