
Senior Human Resources Coordinator

About the Role:
G/O Media is looking for an energetic Senior Human Resources Coordinator to join our People Team. As the Senior Human Resources Coordinator, you should display strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. This role will serve as the first point of contact for employee onboarding/off-boarding activities; as well as, answering and providing information on general benefits, payroll, and employee relations questions and inquiries.
Reporting to the Director of Benefits this is an Exempt, full-time position located in our New York Office.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact for all internal and external employee HR-related inquiries and questions.
Manage the general Human Resources email inbox and other communication platforms and respond accordingly.
Input data into ADP HRIS & other related HR systems (new hires, promotions, transfers, contract increases, terminations)
Run and distribute reports and gather data as needed to support the HR department
Responsible for facilitating and managing the on-boarding and off-boarding processes (offer letters, exit packages, and creating new hire/off-boarding checklist)
Assist with the performance management process
Assist with payroll, benefits, and other ad hoc HR projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
2 years’ experience as an HR coordinator experience, ideally in the digital media or related industry preferred
Effective HR administration and people management skills
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with computer software (Gmail, MS Office Suite, Slack)
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS system (ADP WFN)
Exposure to payroll practices
Ability to work well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines.
Experience with union environment preferred, but not required
Passion for media and entertainment

The salary range for this position is $58,500-$63,500
