Pharmacy Inventory Specialist

Overview

Symbria Rx Services is seeking a team oriented, experienced Pharmacy Inventory Specialist who shares our commitment to ensuring the health and wellness of seniors. The ideal candidate will be a tech savvy, quick study with the ability to wear multiple hats.

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM -or- 10:00 AM-6:30 PM

Responsibilities

As the Pharmacy Purchasing and Inventory Tech, you will be responsible for assisting in monitoring and maintaining the pharmacy’s physical inventory, including returns. In addition, you will also coordinates the exchange of emergency medication kits to communities by ensuring boxes are accurate and complete and tracks and bills medications removed from boxes; and ensures the safe, accurate handling, storage and dispensing of pharmaceuticals from the StatSafe.

Qualifications

Pharmacy inventory experience; minimum one year, preferred.

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Missouri.

Previous pharmacy experience required; long-term care setting(s), preferred.

Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology.

Strong data entry/typing skills.
