Job Title: Production Technician

Location: Amelia, OH

Shift: Night Shift

Pay: $19.50/hr + 1.00 Shift Differential

JOB OVERVIEW: Our Production Technician will be responsible for identifying and managing the technical and continuous improvement needs of assigned customer and oversight of any technical activities related to the client site.

DUTIES:

Responsible for producing/milling batches of dispersions in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to quality procedures as specified in product formulations.

Operates production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Complies with all safety procedures and safety training requirements. Ability to work in a safe manner with proper PPE.

Operates material handling equipment including hoists and forklifts.

Position Requirements

PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum one year experience in a production environment working with manufacturing equipment.

Comfortable working with material handling equipment (e.g. hoist, forklift).

High school graduate or equivalent.

Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, lift (50lbs repeatedly) for the duration of the shift.

Physical Requirements

Your work environment may be dusty and may cause some staining to shoes and clothing in some locations due to the nature of our products. Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be required to stand, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the duration of your shift. Personal Protective Equipment will be required such as safety glasses, safety gloves, respirator or dust mask and protective footwear and/or uniforms. Overtime may be available and required at times, due to customer demands.
