Mechanical Engineer Internship

Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineers at Lunar Energy are responsible full product development lifecycle of mechanical systems within our revolutionary home energy products. As an intern, you will support these activities and will be expected to own/execute projects from beginning to end with mentorship.

Desired Skills:


Leadership or project management experience, working cross functionally in project based settings is a bonus.

Mechanics of Materials

Electrical Circuits/Mechatronics

Introduction to Programming

Heat Transfer, Fluids or Thermodynamics

Experience with 3D CAD software (Solidworks, NX, CATIA…etc) and mechanical design.

Experience with basic electrical circuits, wiring and troubleshooting

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Completed or in the middle of completing coursework in the following classes or roughly equivalent versions:
