This is a contract role for a period of 3-6 months.
Job Description:
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll contribute to our product team with strong, detail-oriented UX, user research, and visual design skills. You’ll work within the UX team to define the product’s overall aesthetics, styling, and workflow based on user stories. UX Design is your bread and butter, and you bring with you experience and interaction design knowledge. You are passionate about contemporary methodologies and are abreast of the latest trends in visual design.

What you will get to do:
In the short term (responsibilities)
Learn our space and our users, taking their stories and preparing to translate them into a product experience
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver high quality implementations of the UI and interaction design
Create lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes for our product discovery process
In the long term (responsibilities)
Work on updating our existing design system and guidelines to help improve it
Help us achieve our goal of being recognized for a best-in-class product
Hone in on design patterns and polish the product experience so that our users cannot live without us
Become an expert on how customers use ROAR, and frame a strong position on how the customer experience should be developed
Become an expert on the customers and market Reciprocity serves, turning customer research into insights for future initiatives
What we are looking for:
4+ years of product design experience
Experience working on SaaS products in a fast-growing environment
Experience designing for software with complex many-to-many relationships such as in CRM, helpdesk, compliance, fintech, or other applications
Excited to work in a team environment of engineers and product owners
Up-to-date experience with industry-leading technologies (Figma, Sketch, XD etc.)
Practical understanding of the latest trends and technologies used to build rich web apps
Experience integrating data into your design decisions
Strong portfolio that shows attention to detail
Strong conceptualization ability and strong visual communication ability
An obsession with the customer: you advocate tirelessly for the user and won't rest until the experience is awesome
Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to bridge gaps and collaborate across product, engineering & customer
A great team player, who is always willing to provide and receive constructive feedback
