Conference Assistant

Overview

IDC is looking for a Conference Assistant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This role requires excellent planning skills along with the ability to work on websites, CMS and power point presentations to ensure a successful and enjoyable event that meets organizational goals and expectations. Assist project manager support with the successful delivery of events. The Conference Assistant need to balance creativity with logistics. They should excel at multitasking and balancing concerns like venue sourcing with details like décor, creating event proposal, working on logistics documents, creating event presentation templates, updating, and maintaining quality of event website. Sourcing new and innovative ideas and tools to digitize IDC events.

Responsibilities

1. Conference assistant work with their teams to select elements of the event.

2. Organize revise and get approval for digital content as well as updating content in a content management system (CMS).

3. Basic knowledge of html to update and edit event web pages.

4. Gather estimates of rooms, food, and beverages.

5. Negotiate contracts for various services and products related to the event.

6. Assist with event logistics before and post the event. For large-scale events, this can include many elements such as event proposal, logistics documents, presentation templates and post event reports.

7. Proficient in Microsoft office suite tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word

8. Basic knowledge of Adobe photoshop Illustrator and premier pro will be a plus
