Accounts Payable Associate

The primary objective of the Sub-Contractor Accounts Payable Associate is to be a direct representative capable of making sound decisions on behalf of Express. The Sub-Contractor Accounts Payable Associate must possess good administrative, accounting and maintenance skills necessary to enhance overall operations. The Sub-Contractor Accounts Payable Associate will make suggestions/recommendations that could enhance or streamline accounting operations, will perform or supervise certain accounting and maintenance functions and be available to assist accounting personnel in performing required duties.

The Sub-Contractor Accounts Payable Associates are responsible for the timely processing and payments of all monies to Sub-Contractors. This position reports to the Sub-Contractor Accounts Payable Manager.

Essential Functions

Process daily installation paperwork

Calculate sales commission on completed installations

Process weekly material bills purchased on the company's account

Maintain and track Sub-Contractors' retainer

Verify that the order is properly completed in RFMS before processing the payment

Ensure RFMS is properly completed for the job costing function

Ensure receipt of W9 for all vendors

Post all payments to RFMS

Promote a positive and professional work environment

Any other projects assigned by management

Qualifications

Graduation from High School or GED

Prior accounting experience

Knowledge of database and Microsoft Office Software programs utilized by the company

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with company employees, credit card representatives, and customers

Possess the ability to be detail-oriented
