About You

We are looking for a high-performing Benefits Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will partner with the Global Benefits Manager to support our Benefits programs and processes and deliver world class customer support to our employees. You will work with HR team members around the world to drive our global benefits objectives, while ensuring local legislative and regulatory compliance needs are being met. You have a high attention to detail, are always looking for opportunities for improvement, and thrive in an ever changing and fast paced environment.

What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

Benefits Administration

Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information;

Assists with new-hire orientations;

Performs quality checks of benefits-related data;

Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes;

Distributes all benefits enrolment materials and determines eligibility;

Enrolls employees with carriers and processes life status changes;

Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries;

Responds to 401(k) / RRSP inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts.

Special Projects

Collaborate with the Global Benefits Manager in developing communication strategies to educate employees on their total rewards programs and any associated enhancements or changes (including written and verbal communications);

Support projects related to Total Rewards programs such as Global Benefits, Wellness/Peak Performance, Equity, Bonus, vendor updates or changes, Time off, Retirement (401k, RRSP, Pension, etc);

Participate in M&A projects;

Educate newly acquired employees on benefits including documentation, training programs, communications and webinar.

What we're looking for

Bachelor degree or Diploma in Human Resources or in an equivalent field of study;

Proven planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks;

Evidence of exceptional interpersonal skills;

Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity;

Experience working with Google Suit;

Can multi-task and work in a fast-paced energetic environment;

Works independently as well as in a team environment.
