Cyber Security Intern (Paid)

Do you have a keen interest in cyber security? Are you looking to transition into the technology sector? Resilience is hiring for an extraordinary individual looking for an internship opportunity on our Security team. Our Security team provides comprehensive and threat-priority security for our clients. This internship is paid and can accommodate flexible working hours. 

Responsibilities:Participate in prospect and existing customer calls.

-Collaborate with managers and technical staff on the team to solve security related problems.

-Identify areas for continuous improvement and develop and/or modify procedures to help mitigate risk.

-Learn how to assess the impact of security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in a company’s networks.

-Work closely with Underwriters and Product Managers to help serve as the technical bridge connecting our insurance staff and clients.

-Assist in Security operations, including assessments, reporting and documentation, as needed.

Requirements:

-Experience and/or interest in cybersecurity and the technology industry. Extra bonus if you are pursuing a degree or program in Computer Science, Cyber or Information Security, Risk Management, etc. 

-Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

-Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

-Comfortable working in a cross functional environment.

-Basic knowledge of cyber risk management strategies or the desire to learn. 

-Basic understanding of security threats to computer networks, services and/or applications.
