Software Deployment Engineer

Overview

Do you have a passion for developing software deployment packages? We are hiring a Software Deployment Engineer for our company’s headquarters in Bridgeton, Missouri. If you possess:

Application deployment experience with InstallShield, Inno Setup, NSIS, Windows Installer or equivalent software

Development skills in C#, C++, and/or C

Excellent attention to detail

This role will develop software packages with Revenera InstallShield and may be involved with: Windows OS installation, software/product testing and custom application development for use in creating OE products.

What you will do:

Develop and maintain software deployment programs using Revenera InstallShield and other package deployment authoring tools

Perform software and product testing to validate product requirements

Help develop new deployment methods and standards

Author test procedures, reports, and installation instructions

Investigate quality assurance problems and implement support for software requirements

Work in a multi-discipline team with focus on following the teams’ values, principles, and practices

Additional duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications Include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.

Experience with automated software update delivery is preferred

Experience with documenting and developing software application requirements is preferred

General knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate information to a team

Excellent problem-solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Comfortable working independently and managing priorities

Windows Installer experience
