
Service Manager
Overview
Service Manager I (SM I) will provide light project management for maintenance and repair work on illuminated signs, as well as interior/exterior lighting and electrical nationwide. The Service Manager possess a strong focus on productivity, a positive attitude and teamwork. Driven to deliver and exceed goals with a sense of urgency to meet customer KPI’s and SLA’s. SM I is responsible to manage the work order from inception through invoicing. The Service Manager has a specific customer delivery responsibility on behalf of the company for the communication, quality, schedule, profitability and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Understand each customer’s requirements, sign standards, processes and procedures to ensure service is exceeding customers’ expectations
Work with the dedicated Account Manager to ensure customers are receiving superior service and on-time deliveries of our products and services
Maintain strong relationships with customers, third party vendors, technicians and internal departments
Display working knowledge of industry standards and practices
Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, field technicians, and internal department throughout the duration of the work order.
Work independently to manage and prioritize work orders to meet quantifiable performance goals
Create detailed service request instructions and provide any applicable information to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner
Follow up with our dedicated manufacturing partners/suppliers to ensure that product is shipping on time and work with our Field Partners to schedule the completion of work orders
Utilize ERP to monitor and record the progress of each work order and keep all statuses, dates, details, costs, notes etc up-to-date
Apply technical skills to interpret the Field Partner findings and apply critical thinking to resolve customer issues
Participate in internal/external meetings related to customer account performance/analytics to improve overall deliverables
Responsible for profitability of each work order. Have the ability to understand and impact costs, coordinate with vendor management to reduce costs and capture billing of ancillary and additional services.

Education, Experience, and Credentials:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Some college experience preferred
1 year office experience in an office environment required
6 + months industry and project management experience required
Intermediate computer skills required
