Experiential Designer
About the Position
We are looking for a full-time Experiential Designer to join our Creative Engagement team. The Creative Engagement team is a resourceful and inspired group that shapes the way people interact with our firm through a wide range of projects, including events, digital content, and even the way our offices are designed. Great ideas come from all over the firm, and we bring them from concept to reality with little red tape, a quick feedback loop, and boundless imagination.
In this role, you’ll design physical spaces and promotional materials for the numerous recruiting events Jane Street attends worldwide. We’re looking for someone who can take initiative in the ideation, creation, and execution phases on a variety of projects.
Those projects may include things like: Creating interactive booth designs for conferences and career fairs, coordinating with external staff and vendors to order assets, or designing signage for an event Jane Street is attending. This position will also give you the opportunity to work alongside countless Jane Street departments — from Global Recruiting, to Trading, to Research, and more — to create smart, innovative, and inviting physical designs that will elevate our presence at in-person events. As a part of this role, in-person attendance to some events will be required, some of which will be international.
The candidate for this role must be collaborative, proactive, and communicative. Given the intellectual brand of work that the firm does, we’re looking for a designer who can think conceptually and turn abstract ideas into eye-catching and beautiful experiential design pieces. We’re a highly collaborative and collegial company, and your smart design work will help showcase our brand and values in efforts to recruit your future colleagues.
